In May 2018, Qitai Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was established in Berlin, Germany. It is a semiconductor technology and professional chip design enterprise dedicated to providing high-quality image processing and edge application chip design for the industry.
On March 10, 2023, Hangzhou Qitai Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was established, focusing on the design and development of integrated circuit products. The team specializes in algorithms and digital logic chips, with full-process chip design and production capabilities. Its main products focus on AI Edge Chips targeting application markets such as industrial-grade intelligent robots.
The company assembles high-caliber core R&D talents from top domestic and overseas universities including Technische Universität Berlin, Zhejiang University, Xi’an Jiaotong University and Tongji University. In 2023, it secured angel-round investment from Zhejiang Saizhi Bole with technical support from the team of Academician Chen Chun of Zhejiang University, and its revenue exceeded 140 million yuan in the first year. In 2024, the company invested in and built an advanced packaging plant, with annual sales exceeding 200 million yuan. In 2025, its total turnover surpassed 230 million yuan.
